March 7th
I’m trying to be very kind to you March but you are putting up a fight,
Does anyone else feel the same joy that I do when I see a Savannah local finally paired up with a beau or belle? I specifically mean an older folk of course, one that perhaps is always sitting by themselves, or occasionally accompanied by a small white dog. I wonder when you reach a certain age and are in the dating pool, how do you bring up the topic of past lovers? You must have accumulated a surplus of them, is it appropriate to compare? Do you have a favorite life lesson you’ve learned from some of them?

As it warms up, so does the tension. Have you noticed more PDA in the bar scene? Like everyone dreads the cicadas, I dread the singles of Savannah. Somewhere, someone who isn’t us has taken a new lover. Or should I say new-ish (?) no one is really NEW here, love just tends to work in seasons. Savannah has flung itself into it’s spring formal and I urge you to notice the new and unusual pairings that will certainly pop up. Be on your toes Savannah, perhaps by summer we’ll have the next it couple. (or another bachelor to add to the mix)

It’s very hard to get a breakfast sandwich on a Sunday morning. Saturday’s are service industries Friday night and Sundays are tourist’s Mondays. The problem is, Fridays are still Friday nights for friends and Saturday nights are mostly for strangers. Are you following along?
The root of the problem is that I can’t get a breakfast sandwich on a Sunday morning.
